Really impressed by Garcia, not the best starts in both his innings and didn't let it bother him at all. Amazing that Ankiel has hit 20 home runs and Ludwick is already on 19. When was the last year we had 3 players hit 20 in a season, never mind flirting with it by the all star break? 3 years ago now with Albert, Edmonds and Reggie?

Cardinals HR Leaders by year: 2007: Albert Pujols: 32 Chris Duncan: 21 Ryan Ludwick: 14 Jim Edmonds: 12 Rick Ankiel: 11 2006: Albert Pujols: 49 Scott Rolen: 22 Chris Duncan: 22 Jim Edmonds: 19 Juan Encarnacion: 19 2005: Albert Pujols: 41 Jim Edmonds: 29 Reggie Sanders: 21 Larry Walker: 15 So, you really only have to go back to 2006. But, it's still a great year for the Cards as far as HRs go. Ludwick, Ankiel, and Pujols are all on pace for 35-40+ HRs.
