The NL lineup is just plain sick. Braun hitting 7th..... if it weren't for Fukudome this might be one of the all time great lineups...... |

I was mowing the lawn.  It was funny though. I came in to use the restroom and Hamilton was just starting. I went back out and finished up the mowing. A half hour later I walk in and my wife says, "Don't worry, you didn't miss anything. Hamilton is still batthing." Just wow...

Who do you all think will win tonight? I'm going to say the NL. Their lineup is stronger and Clint Hurdle doesn't appear to give a shit how he manages as long as they win. That was evident with the placement of Pujols in the 4 spot despite not being voted on by either the players or the fans. The only thing that worries me is the inability of Webb and likely Lincecum and someone else, forget who, to pitch b/c they all went Sunday and went deep. We'll see how that plays out, but Hurdle has also said he'll pitch guys multiple innings if they're getting the job done. |

uggla is terrible on defense, the two errors and in the 11th when he should have been able to get to the ball and turn two but put no effort into it. |

I don't even know what to say about Uggla. Not turning 2 on the play at the plate was understandable considering he had just made 2 errors ... but the second error you rarely see in little league! How much more basic is getting your glove on the ground and bringing it up to the ball? There was a certain amount of pity for the guy until the second at-bat with a runner on third and 1 out. If getting out of that inning wasn't enough to pick him up ... Been a bloody good game though! |
