Chris Duncan is the worst OF'er in baseball. No reason for him to be playing over Ludwick, especially against the Brewers

You know, for as much as people praise Ankiel in the field, he takes some of the shittiest routes to balls I have ever seen.

Well, they better take care of business with Lohse on the mound tomorrow night. We go against two tough pitchers after that. At least the Cubs lost tonight...

Unfortunately, Chicago isn't the only team we're looking up to right now

Why the hell was Lohse pitching to Hardy after giving up the double to make it 3-2? He had given up 5 hits against the last 9 batters and was clearly not the same as his first 6 innings. Crazy decision that could cost the win.

I am not the most patient when it comes to how long to leave a pitcher in ... am I being too harsh tonight?

Have you seen our bullpen? Yeah, it's kinda the worse in baseball.

I don't think we had any clearcut choices to get us out of the inning.

Brad Thompson. Considering the trouble Lohse had in the 7th, and the fact that Thompson has an excellent record against both Weeks and Hardy it would have been logical to have him working in case Lohse got in bother.

The bullpen situation does suck, as McClellan showed us yet again, but leaving Lohse out there at that point gave them a better chance than not of getting the run.

I don't see why we have Kelvin in the pen and not Perez, and there's no more point in waiting for Izzy to try to come back and be an effective closer, because he will not. we gave him a chance the other night, and what do you know, he blows the save. And then he complains about not having his role back.

I would rather see Jimenez on this team over Perez right now. Perez doesn't have a secondary pitch. I don't understand all of the hype on him right now. Until he develops at least one more pitch, he is crap.

I haven't heard any complaining from Izzy.

I haven't heard Izzy complain at all. I don't see how he could complain. I mean he has to know that he sucks ass right now.

Yeah. AFAIK, he understands this situation the most. He's not asking to be put back in the closer's role, he's just trying his best to improve. I don't see how you can possibly rag on Izzy for complaining.

I didn't mean complaining, but i heard on the radio that he said that not being in his role is "getting to his head", and his thinking more about getting 8 saves than the current situations that he is pitching in"

That's understandable. I mean, his career is falling apart right before the 300 save mark, and no matter how hard he tries he just can't get back to his old form. That'd get to my head, too.

But it's somewhat his fault that his career is falling apart, so he should get it together and try to reach 8 more saves.
