I don't know what to feel about McClellan. He hadn't pitched in a while before last nights game and once he settled in he looked pretty good. I think he might be a decent option for the 5 spot in next years rotation.

Don't shoot me.

No way, you give that guy 100 pitches and 30 of them will be mistakes... If he is a starter, he will give up way too much...

It's obvious that McClellan would be a better starter than reliever, to me at least. It seems that most of his mistakes come when he's being overused by Tony. In times when he'll work 2 or 3 games in a row, he starts to to make mistakes, but his first games are usually spot-on. Yeah, that's not always the case, but it seemed to be that way mostly earlier in the season.

In the rotation, he'd be on a 5-day schedule, always be able to be prepared, and he'd get all the rest he needs.

I'm certainly not counting him out. I'd kinda like to see him be thrown in the starting role once or twice when we get to the point where we're mathematically out of it..

McClellan has certainly looked awful as of late. I still believe that is mainly from being overused.

Just think you will get to see him in the rotation next season. The kid was lights out earlier in the year. Im sure he has put to many miles on the arm this season, but I guess we are all forgetting about that.

LOL, You're honestly saying that to me? I'm the one who gets bitched at for calling the Cubs a good team. "Oh noes you don't talk bad about teh Cardz!" Apparently being a life-long devout fan of the Cards while still respecting any other team makes me a fair-weather fan. Sure.

Either way, I didn't say you always predict bad. I said everything bad that happens, you seem to see coming. Maybe you do have psychic powers, I dunno.
