Friday: Cardinals (Braden Looper, 10-9, 4.29) at Cubs (Ted Lilly, 11-6, 4.35), 1:20 p.m. CT
Saturday: Cardinals (Todd Wellemeyer, 8-4, 4.01) at Cubs (Carlos Zambrano, 12-4, 2.76), 2:55 p.m. CT
Sunday: Cardinals (TBD) at Cubs (Ryan Dempster, 12-5, 2.93), 7:05 p.m. CT

Not sure why the Cards site says TBD on Sunday... it should be Carpenter. I think if we take 2 in this series, that would be awesome. The Cubs have been playing great ball lately, especially at home, and the matchups favor them each day.

What the hell was Franklin doing experimenting with a knuckleball in extra innings, in the biggest series up to this point? Wow, what a time to pull that one out of the bag.

Yes, indeed. On the leadoff walk to Lee, I believe he had him down in the count 1-2 and went on to throw two consecutive knuckleballs that were no where close, and the of course walked him on the next pitch.

Big win today. Hopefully Carp can continue to build on what he has done tomorrow.
